There are many injustices in the world that resist change. Some are due to different points of view around what are desirable behaviours; some are due to indifference to others’ suffering; some to lack of resources.
In fair, tolerant societies these injustices might be addressed by effective governments, supported by engaged populations and business leaders but for many reasons they persist.
- Women are still raped, denied access to education and live in a male-by-default world.
- The natural wealth of Africa too often does not benefit African people but rather those who exploit its resources.
- Corruption and imbalanced income distribution favour the already rich and undermine democracy.
The David Suddens Foundation wants to promote education as the basis to create fairer and kinder societies. The Foundation is a non-profit organisation and supports socially beneficial projects and public benefit organizations (PBO’s) that contribute to the common good.
